"I bought this banjo and converted it after failing to find a banjo for my DML305 lathe. It was a simple job to convert and did an excellent job, I'm very pleased with it."

"I bought this banjo with a view to using it on SIEG SC3 lathe, and estimated the size from the 1 inch post and a photos on the net! Obviously the banjo is meant to run on a pair of round rails for the advertied lathes, but I have been using it with some success with the smaller lathe the SC3. The banjo clamps to the lower edge of the SC3 lathe with a large square washer in place of the bracket supplied. Also as the tool rest was much too high I swapped the supplied tool rest for an evolution post and rest, shortening the post a bit to aid clearance. The result is a working tool rest which runs on the lathe rails and functions reasonably well. The banjo was worth a punt!"
