University Project 'Dust To Dust'
Mr.D.Milbourn is currently undertaking a Photography Project at The Arts University Of Bournemouth. 'This project is always evolving however is about obsolescence and how when one thing ceases to have its original use for one reason or another, it then takes on another image.' Part of this project induced a handful of images being taken here at Yandles.

The History Of Yandles
Yandles was founded in 1860 by Henry Yandle, a wheelwright, after he resettled his family from Wiveliscombe to the then small, but prosperous Village of Martock. It is thought that as the cloth mills around Wiveliscombe began to decline, Henry moved to Martock where there was a buoyant and successful industry based around agriculture.

Yandles sawmill holds large stocks of Green Oak beams in a variety of sections and lengths available to take away immediately at competitive prices. We carry a large stock of pre-cut beams and supplement this with a stock of Oak logs to be sawn meaning we are well set up to meet your needs. From our stocks Yandles Mill can prepare your cutting list to any specification you require up to 12" square and 6m long and we pride ourselves on our fast turnaround, and quality timber. We aim to complete most green oak cutting lists in 4-5 working days and often quicker
