Product Description

Choose from end posts, corner posts or middle posts to design your own green oak fence. The posts are all four way topped and are morticed to allow for the tenoned rails to be slotted straight in. Each post is slotted for two rails. Posts and rails are planed all round with a micro bevel.

End posts are slotted on one face

Corner posts are slotted on two joining faces

Middle posts are slotted on opposite faces.

Putting together

This is a two person job.

The key to putting this together is getting the spacing correct. The posts are morticed and the rails have a tenon in them that slots in. We found the best way to do it was to dig the first hole nad post crete in the first post to the desired height, ensuring the mortice was running in the direction we wanted the fence to go and that the post was straight. We then inserted one rail to get the spacing correct and dug the second hole. Once the hole was dug we inserted the rails and set up the posts to the correct height and angle, before fixing with braces to hold the post in place and then we post creted in place. We repeated this with the all posts and rails.

Timber Delivery Rates for Mainland UK start from: Bench slats - £11.99 Large Timber - £19.99 Double Pallet - £119.99(up to 2.4m) Triple Pallet - £169.00 (up to 3.6m). Green oak is delivered by palletised deliveries on a two day service and the costs are determined by length

Green oak is heavy and will require lifting off the lorry. Please ensure you have necessary equipment or man power to unload the lorry. This may requre more than one person. Our office can adivse on approximate weights

If there are access issues please advise prior to delivery and we can arrange necessary transport although this may occur a sur charge.

We will call before dispatch once the order is ready to orginise a delivery day. We book in all deliveries and Pallet force will call on the day of delivery to give a rough delivery time.
