Product Description

Exclusively from shogun this unique 2 in 1 pull cut saw features a Dozuki and Flush Cut saw in one blade.

The blade is hard chrome plated and is replacable.

The first 90mm of the blade has non set teeth and is flexible so can be used for flush cutting.

The second section is 150mm long and features a Dozuki blade with back spine for dovetailing, tenoning, cross-cutting, box making and general cabinet making.

Flush cut saw

Specifically designed for the flush trimming of wooden dowels and plugs without the risk of scratching the surrounding surface.

The highly flexible blade allows access into tight corners.

A wooden handle provides a comfortable grip.

Woodturners use these saws as an alternative parting tool.

Dozuki Saw

One of the most popular of the Japanese saws, is the Dozuki style precision saw. It has a back spine which supports the blade during the pull cut allowing an incredibly thin plate to be used, only 0.27mm.

The thin plate means less material is removed and so the resulting cut requires very little effort whilst giving very high accuracy and a smooth finish, thanks to the fine 27tpi tooth pattern.

Applications include dovetailing, tenoning, cross-cutting, box making and general cabinet making.

This Dozuki saw can cut to a depth up to 40mm, so is suitable for cutting tenon shoulders.

The blade fixes to a traditional rattan wrapped paulownia wooden handle that offers fantastic control.
