"I have several belts since buying the proedge recently. I use those for shaping and re-profiling, I use the diamond belt for sharpening and it gives a great finish it is a bit expensive but now have a great sharpening system producing flat grinds."

"Ok, so £139 for a belt for the Robert Sorby Pro Edge might seem a bit expensive, but this is no ordinary sharpening belt, this is a ‘3000g diamond belt’ and its the D**s B******s of sharpening belts. Before this I would be changing out belts for a pastime as I sharpen everything from a 2’ Scraper to the Mrs’s toe nail clippers. Also a bonus at the moment is Yandle’s price of £139 is really good value given these belts go for around £199 elsewhere. So if your are fed up of changing belts want a razor sharp edge then I do think it’s worth the investment. "

"Very pleased with this diamond belt so far, and very happy that Sorby have finally released this new version following a couple of years of it being unavailable. Sharpens well and so far no signs of wear whatsoever in its first month of use"
