• African Exotic Timber

Colour is a deep red with a hint of pink & with darker red streaks running down the grain, occasionally wavy. White to pale yellow sap wood clearly demarcated from heartwood (sap wood is also hard & can be turned).  The grain is often wavy or interlocked. Uniform medium to coarse texture, with a high natural lustre.

Once turned they polish like glass!
