Product Description

The most beautiful single stage dust collector to hit the market in years. Sleek design and power to match. No more fumbling with a steel band to mount your lower bag, the B|Flux comes with a patented Snap-Band that makes changing the bag a breeze. Unlike most 1HP units the B|Flux feels solid and has a low dB rating. The horizontal dust chute provides optimum airflow & can swivel 180° to make the 4″ outlet face downwards. The B|Flux:1 comes standard with a 1 micron canister providing filtration of 99.97% of particles between 0.2 ~ 2 microns and features 17.2 square feet of polyester spun bond pleated filter to ensure maximum airflow. Hand crank cleaning prevents clogging of the filter.

"This is a tricky review to write, there are some good points about the machine. Its compact. Quiet... super quiet. Easy to put together. The instruction have really good and clear pictures of every step of the process. Now there are some issues and let’s be clear I paid £529 for this unit and to be honest having lived with the unit for 4/5 months now I feel that is about £200 more than its actually worth. I could not believe the price hike all the Laguna stuff has had in the last year. I think you really need to think hard about this unit as its just not worth the new higher price (or the lower price at £529). The suction is not that good. Granted it’s a small unit and these units work on mass air flow with low suction pressure and not like a hover with very low air flow but high suction pressure. That said it won't pick up a shaving any bigger than a thumb nail at any distance. I work out of a shed and it can just about keep up with a cheap table saw and a 6'' planer thicknesser (well not really with the thicknesser) There is also a stupid impeller guard on the inlet that blocks on larger shavings (like that off a hand plane) so...yer... that's frustrating with you come to clear up at the end of the day. The filter with using the manual cleaner handle thingy shoots dust out of the filter with it’s turned. Over all I would say if you need a small unit save the money and get a super cheap bagged filter one for like £150. If you want to run a planer thicknesses get something bigger than this. For the new price you can get a 2hp unit and for a little more you can get 3hp... (granted it’s not fancy pretty Laguan stuff but how cares) I hope this review helps/saves someone. "

"What a fantastic extractor ! got this to replace my big noisy charnwood extractor and it is a different league , far more power, better filtration and quieter and more compact than anything else I have used in a small workshop environment . I find a lot less particles floating in the air too ! highly recommend this for the small home workshop "
