Product Description
Hampshire Sheen’s Danish Oil is food safe and certified EN71 toy safe when dry.
Thinner, more penetrating and less smelly that other Danish Oils, our product contains only pure Tung Oil and no artificial varnish, resins or other vegetable oils.
The solvent used in used to aid drying is dearomatised white spirit, which is less irritating to skin and lower in odour than traditional white spirit, and is completely biodegradable.
– Easy to apply; – Over 50% Tung Oil; – Food and Toy Safe when dry; – Odourless when dry; – Nourishing, deeply penetrating and protecting; – Will not chip, flake or peel; – Naturally water resistant.
Basic Application:
– Sand your work down to the desired grit; – Apply the oil liberally using a paper towel or rag with the lathe stationary; – Remove excess oil from surface; – Allow 20 minutes between coats; – Leave to dry thoroughly for at least 24-48 hours before buffing and putting into use; – Recoat as required.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Do not ingest. Wear appropriate protection for skin and eyes when applying. If in eyes: rinse well with water and seek medical advice. If swallowed: seek immediate medical advice. Lay saturated rags and towels flat and allow to dry before sensible disposal. Do not pile-up saturated rags.
