Product Description

Complete Tailstock Assembly (New Style) To Fit Record Power Coronet Herald Lathe

Upgrades include:

Smoother, easier action
Self-ejecting
The internal key is now loaded on the reverse side to reduce chippings from gathering
A 'clip' now locks the barrel; easier to use, clamps & no longer disengages
All parts are easier to change (loosen screws & align by eye)

It will need to be aligned to your headstock, simple to do, add new tailstock to your bed, bring it toward the face of the headstock & align using a 2mt alignment tool & adjust the tail stock alignment screws located at the base of the tail stock.

"I have always felt that the original tailstock was the weak point - this modified one is much better - more stable (thicker casting) and far better barrel movement - could do with having a longer reach though. No thread out of rear to catch your knuckles on now either."
