About The Wood

About Sapele:  Sapele timber plank refers to a wooden board made from sapele wood, a tropical hardwood native to Africa. Sapele is renowned for its rich reddish-brown color, often featuring darker streaks and an attractive ribbon-like grain pattern that adds depth and character to the timber plank. With a fine texture and moderate hardness, sapele timber is prized for its durability, stability, and workability, making it a popular choice for various woodworking projects. Sapele timber planks are commonly used in furniture making, cabinetry, flooring, boat building, and architectural millwork, where their striking appearance and robust properties lend elegance and sophistication to the finished product.

About Zebrano:  A Zebrano timber plank is a wooden board crafted from Zebrano wood, also known as zebrawood or zebrina. It is a tropical hardwood native to Africa, primarily found in regions such as West Africa and the Congo basin. Zebrano timber is highly distinctive due to its striking appearance, characterized by alternating light and dark brown stripes resembling the stripes of a zebra, hence its name. This unique grain pattern makes Zebrano timber highly sought after for decorative purposes in woodworking projects. Additionally, Zebrano wood is prized for its durability, hardness, and excellent workability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including furniture making, cabinetry, veneers, musical instruments, and decorative items.

About Bubinga:  A Bubinga timber plank is a wooden board crafted from Bubinga wood, a tropical hardwood native to Africa, particularly found in regions such as West Africa and Central Africa. Bubinga is renowned for its rich, reddish-brown color, often featuring darker veining and a pronounced, attractive grain pattern that can vary from straight to interlocked. This distinctive appearance makes Bubinga timber highly prized for decorative woodworking projects. Bubinga wood is valued not only for its aesthetics but also for its durability, stability, and workability. It is commonly used in furniture making, cabinetry, veneers, musical instruments, and architectural millwork, where its unique combination of visual appeal and robust properties enhances the finished product.
