Product Description

Record Power Magnetic LED Work Light with Flexible Neck

This powerful work lamp is a perfect addition to any workshop. The long flexible neck allows it to be positioned to illuminate even the most hard-to-reach areas and get rid of troublesome shadows, giving a clear view of the work in progress. To further increase the lamp’s flexibility, a sliding collar on the lamp head allows either a spotlight or floodlight beam to be created. The strong magnetic base and magnetic side clip mean the light can be secured virtually anywhere on a machine. It can be powered by standard AA batteries, a rechargeable lithium battery or directly from the mains via the USB cable (using a 5 V, 1 A USB plug adaptor). This lamp gives hours of uninterrupted use and is ideal for a wide variety of machines such as scroll saws, bandsaws, sharpening machines, lathes and many more.

"Well made product although the flexible neck could do with being stiffer as it wants to sag a little. Power lead could do with being longer but could be extended using USB extender lead if purchased. Delivery very quick but box got a bit bashed in post although lamp not damaged. Could do with more protection before posting. Kept informed by Yandles as to progress of order - very efficient."

"Completely worthless working light.. i had two of them in a few months and they don't work anymore , also the 18650 does not fit correctly. Terrible design.. the lamp does not stay in place also..zero stars."

"This is a really useful tool in the arsenal. As well as attaching it to a machine using the magnet I've also been using it as a bench light for fine chiseling etc.I use a weight lifting 1kg weight which is cast iron and that acts as a very stable base whilst I bend the light to where it's needed. I may have to buy another!!! "

"Bright light! Essential when using a pillar or bench drill - but many more uses. I have been plugging into a USB battery back that I usually use for my phone. The neck does droop so I rested on the drill guard. Magnets good - and collect swarf nicely! Quick delivery - great service."

"An excellent light which I have chosen to run from USB only - as they don't provide rechargeable batteries. It sits OK on the head stock of a Coronet Herald, however, what a pity Record don't supply a magnetic adaptor to fit the surface profile, this would give a far better sitting position. That aside, I would recommend the light."

"Initial impression (out of box) - good, solid, excellent light radius 2nd impression (after fitting) - magnetic base struggled with curved contours of my Poolewood 1500 headstock, length of flexi shaft seemed ideal for spindle/pen turning, but too short for bowls, esp large bowls 3rd impression - TBA, but should come with warning for need of USB charging outlet near lathe"
