About Mark:
Mark is a professional turner running a workshop from his seaside town in North Cornwall. Mark turns functional and artistic pieces along with restoration work for joiners, architects, and builders. He enjoys turning anything from small spindles to large hollow forms, using texture and colour to express his individual style. Mark also enjoys teaching and demonstrating woodturning and passing his knowledge to beginners and intermediate turners alike. His easy-going and affable manner will make it easy for you to follow along and learn something new. His demonstrations are always informative and engaging, and he is more than happy to answer any questions you may have along the way.
During the demonstration, you will have the opportunity to watch an experienced Woodturner create a beautiful Sprial Stem Goblet! You'll see how Mark uses his tools and techniques to shape and transform raw wood into a stunning creation. In addition to the FREE demonstration, we'll also have plenty of time for Q&A. You can ask questions, learn more about the tools and materials used in woodturning, and get tips and advice from our expert woodturner.
