The most popular sized combination sander for the home workshop. With a 450w Quiet Induction Motor, 6" Diameter Sanding Disc & 4" x 36" Sanding Belt. Belt sanding is available vertically or horizontally. The work table can be tilted & comes supplied with a Mitre Guide.

There are dust extraction outlets on both functions to help reduce dust. The design of this Belt & Disc Sander has been updated and simplified from the traditional belt-driven sander. Both the belt & disc functions are powered directly from the motor shaft.

The disc sander side has a 150mm diameter disc complimented by a solid one-piece aluminium work table with a 45-degree tilt. A mitre guide fits onto the slot in the work table allowing the disc to be used for accurate sanding of square edges as well as bevels, mitres and even compound angles.

A dust extraction outlet is provided to connect to a suitable vacuum or extractor. The sanding belt can be used in horizontal or vertical mode. It can also be locked at any angle in between, sometimes more comfortable for sharpening tools. When used horizontally for face sanding the belt is fitted with a backstop. This can be quickly removed and replaced with the work table. The open drum end of the belt can be used for sanding curved edges.

When the time comes to replace the sanding belt there is a quick-release tension lever and tracking adjustment to balance the new belt. The sander sits on 4 rubber feet to provide a stable platform. It can also be secured to a work bench using the 2 mounting points provided.
