Several customers have suggested that we use our blog to inform everyone of any new timber being put into the Self-selection.  Therefore, I thought as we have been busy restocking from the mill it would be a good opportunity to keep you all up to date.

Firstly, we have put out some of the best stock of 1” American Black Walnut that I have seen for many years.  All the boards are a good dark colour, excellent grain and 10” and wider.  We have also topped up with 2”, 11/2” and 1” prime European oak and now have plenty of Rustic Oak in stock in 8” – 10” wide boards.

There has been new stock of Ash in 1”, 2” and 3” boards, many 8” and wider, yellow pine in 12” wide boards and 1”, 2” and 3” Sapele.  Finally we now have some Siberian Larch, kiln dried and machined all round in roughly 5 7/5” x 2” dimensions, ideal for both internal and external use.

A new delivery of Wild Olive (which is already selling well) and Sonokelling Rosewood squares 24” x 2” x 2” has arrived in and is now on the shelves in the bowl blank room.

Finally we are well stocked with Weston Red Cedar feather edged boards in 6” and 8” widths.

Hopefully we have tempted you with some of our new stocks and will be seeing you soon in our Self- Selection Centre.
