Verum plane blades are crafted from 3mm thick T10 water hardened carbon steel ground to 25 degrees in preparation for a 30 degree sharpen. T10 is quick to hone, and it keeps sharper for longer than traditional steels, even on tough timbers, allowing more planing and less frequent sharpening!
Having blades with different cambers allows for a range of timber preparation and finishing task to maximise your planes versatility.
