The Record Power PT310 is a compact yet extremely accurate, powerful and easy to use heavy-duty planer thicknesser. It has been designed to offer serious home users a high performance solution for accurate dimensioning of timber. One of the key features of the PT310 is its parallel table lift design. Changeover from planing to thicknessing mode is fast and easy – simply loosen the cam action table locks and lift the entire table assembly, including the fence, in one movement.
For a smooth, superior finish, the cutter block has 3 knives and the outfeed roller is rubber coated to reduce marking of the timber as it is fed from the machine. Easy to use, powerful and accurate, the PT310 gives professional performance and results in a compact and cost effective package.

Record power planer is just magnificent . Very well constructed and lots of attention to detail that other manufacturers can’t be bothered with ; such as the screw down adjuster on the blade shield where the thread is nylon not metal so doesn’t scratch and mark it . Seen others where over time not only is it a mess but becomes difficult to use . It looks very robust overall. Everything was perfectly aligned . Very pleased , thank you .
