It sands to a sleek, polished surface and accepts oils, waxes, lacquers, and CA finishes extremely well—resulting in a glossy, high-contrast sheen that brings out the wood’s dramatic character.
Bocote has a Janka hardness rating of about 2,010 lbf (8,950 N)
