Key Upgrades

• ISOBLOCK Industrial Tool Steel Guide System:
  • The SABRE-350 and SABRE-450 now feature the ISOBLOCK guide system, as seen on the SABRE-300. This high-quality tool steel system dissipates heat more effectively and cleans the blade during operation, offering superior performance compared to ceramic guides and roller guides.
  • The larger contact surface ensures better guidance and stability during cutting.
• Enhanced Electric Components:
  • The Siemens contactors used on these upgraded bandsaws are now also more accessible in a box mounted on the spine – ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance.
• New 45° Table End Stop:
  • In addition to the existing 90° stop, we have added an adjustable 45° end stop to the side of the frame to help set the table quickly and accurately when tilting
• Bayonet Dust Collection Ports:
  • The dust extraction system now includes a bayonet fitting, compatible with our Camvac dust collectors, ensuring efficient dust management. The SABRE-350 gains an additional side extraction port bringing it in line with SABRE-300. The side port on the SABRE-450 will now be same size as SABRE-300 and SABRE-350 to ensure all current and future T-Piece connection solutions are universal across the range
• Micro-Adjustment on Fence:
  • The fences on SABRE-350 and 450 retain their current size but have now been upgraded to benefit from the micro-adjustment found on SABRE-300 and the improved drift adjustment.

The SABRE range of bandsaws are the next evolutionary step from the highly regarded and market-leading Record Power premium bandsaws. The SABRE-450 builds on this success, boasting a range of fantastic new features, in addition to being the largest ever bandsaw to bear the Record Power name. The 1500 W output (2 hp) motor drives the heavy cast iron wheels with ample power to cope with the heaviest of cuts. The cam-action fence adjustment, spring-loaded guides, cam-action blade tension release and double-sided fence mount make this a machine that is so easy to setup and use it leaves you free to concentrate fully on the project at hand. In addition, the SABRE-450 features an electromechanical braking system, making it ideal for use in educational environments. This machine requires a 16amp power supply and uses a blue ‘commando’ plug.

The Record Power Sabre-450 Bandsaw is a powerful floor-standing woodworking bandsaw – the biggest in the Record Power range – featuring a 320mm depth of cut and 445mm throat capacity — ideal for serious woodworkers, small businesses & schools.
For smaller workshops or lighter use, consider the Record Power Sabre-350 bandsaw, with a premium spec, but smaller capacity and cost.
