The 14|12 features a reinforced spine that minimises frame distortion when the blade is fully tensioned, providing you with the precision you need for every cut. The ceramic blade guide system, a hallmark of Laguna bandsaws, creates 10 points of contact on the blade. Positioned above and below the table, these guides ensure easy setup and highly accurate cuts, even when re-sawing deep timber. The long-life ceramic guides offer a larger blade contact area than traditional bearing guides, resulting in more support for the blade and greater cutting accuracy. With a maximum cutting depth of 330mm and a cutting width of 310mm (with fence), this bandsaw is perfect for handling a variety of projects, allowing you to cut through thick materials with ease and precision.
The 14|12 is equipped with a powerful 1.3kW (1.75hp) braked motor that provides ample power to handle a wide range of tasks whist stopping the blade quickly in case of an emergency, reducing the risk of accidents.
The double windows allow you to check both tension and tracking while the machine is running. Additionally, the quick-release blade tension lever makes it easy to change blades without compromising safety and means you can easily release the tension stress on the blade when not in use to help prolong blade life. The solid cast wheels are electronically and dynamically balanced fitted with polyurethane tyres that provide cooler operation and longevity. The worm gear and pinion on the blade guard rise and fall is ultra-smooth and engineered to have minimum flex, even when fully extended. Fitted with a single 100mm dust collection outlet for easy connection to a dust extractor to help keep your workspace clean.
The fully adjustable Hi-Lo aluminium fence enhances versatility, allowing for full and precise timber support for both large and small work pieces. The fence height can be adjusted to 140mm or 12mm, providing flexibility for different cutting needs. Additionally, the table insert adjustment allows for simple levelling, and the table tilt ranges from -7 degrees to +45 degrees, providing flexibility for a variety of cutting angles. The micro-polished cast iron table, measuring 400mm x 546mm, is mounted onto an oversized double cast iron trunnion with two locking points, ensuring a solid surface to work from. This table size provides ample workspace, making it easier to handle larger pieces of material.

Great saw very well engineered certainly on the robust side but just what is required. Runs very quietly with plenty power. Setting up the lower guides a little tricky but tilting the table helps. The instructions need the fasteners to be identified as it require a process of ellimination to figure out what goes where. I dont think you would be disapointed great saw great quality. Great service from Yandles, bought the 4 blade and wheel kit package thought this was great value for money.

The optional mobility kit is a godsend for those of us for whom space is at a premium.All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending this machine,
