Air dried lintel 200x100mm. Our oak lintels are made from oak that has been aired dried for two years or more. This aids in stability of the timber as the major moisture reduction in the piece has already happened.
They will have splits or wind shakes on the face from the air drying process. There can also be large splits that go to the heart of the piece or knots that can be quite large, but they will not effect the structural integrity of the oak.
The sawn oak lintel is a grey colour and planed is a dark golden colour.
Cut off square to length.
It is a natural product and so can change.
