With the Tormek Planer Blade Attachment SVH-320 you can sharpen HSS planer blades of any length. Also suitable for mitre guillotine blades.

With this jig you will always work with sharp planer blades. You do not need to interrupt your work to send them away for sharpening.

The jig copes with planer blades of any length. Blades longer than 270 mm (10½”) are relocated in the blade holder and ground in two steps.

The tool is guided precisely and ground flat along its whole length to a pre-set fixed depth. This is not the case with the other Tormek jigs, where your hand decides where the grinding occurs and the depth of grinding. It is important that the grinding angle is set with great accuracy.
