As a turner of miniature and micro pieces these jaws really appealed to me. I got them in conjunction woth the SC1 chuck. The jaws are limited in the diameter of sock they can grip, only going down to around 4 to 5 mm. It’s a shame that a bit more thought couldn’t have gone into these so they would grip much thinner stock, down to 1mm would have been ideal. I was disappointed in this. However they are nicely balanced and great finger savers when turning.
