This is the shorter model in the ¼” shank mini shaft range. Developed by Manpa and thoroughly field-tested by experienced chainsaw, bonsai, and ice carving artists in South Korea, it’s built for precision in small-scale carving projects. The tool measures 1-11/16” in length, 5/16” in diameter, and offers a maximum carving depth of 13/16”. It features a single 3/16” (5mm) cutting head, engineered to run at high speeds between 20,000 and 30,000 RPM.

✅ Compatible With:

This mini shaft is ideal for use with straight die grinders that have a ¼” collet. It works with:

• Air-powered (pneumatic) die grinders

• Electric die grinders

• Cordless (battery-operated) models
  Make sure to use straight-bodied grinders, as angled versions are not suitable.

Most woodworkers and carvers will already have a compatible tool in their workshop setup.

⚠️ Not Safe for the Following Tools:

Even if the shaft appears to fit, it should not be used with:

• Flexible shafts

• Drill chucks or multi-chucks

• Angle grinders, even if fitted with:

  • Manpa Mini Collet ER

  • Any form of collet extension

Angle grinders don’t reach the necessary RPM range and pose a significant safety risk with this accessory.
