Sapele is a beautiful and durable hardwood that is commonly used for bench slats. The planed all round (PAR) profile is a type of wood finishing that involves machining the wood to create a smooth and uniform surface on all sides. This profile is particularly well-suited for bench slats, as it provides a sleek and polished appearance that is both attractive, modern and functional. With a PAR profile, the wood is completely flat, which reduces the risk of splinters or rough edges that could be uncomfortable for users. These bench slats are machined on site in our sawmill and are available in a range of sizes to fit your bench perfectly.
