The Ottoman Empire created the first known world map in the 16th century. Its creator was Perry Reason, so the map was also called the Perry Reason map. However, the history of cartography goes back to much earlier. The first known maps were carved in stone by ancient people. We’ve decided to create our own World Map L to share the history of cartography and the world in general, and give you another fascinating constructor.
