The OmniBase by Milescraft is the next generation in universal router bases. The 7″ (178mm) router base is compatible with nearly every router, from small trim routers to full-size plunge routers. This is possible due to its patented adjustable swivel mounting wings. Secure one or both fixed mounting locations to your router, then swivel the others to align. The OmniBase also is compatible with all of the other TurnLock jigs from Milescraft, making it a must have accessory to connect your existing router to all of the other jigs from Milescraft.

This is a cracking bit of kit to allow the use of metricated Porter-Cable style of bushes on routers which only take their proprietary types such as Trend, Festool etc. The centring pin is concentric (sounds bonkers but all the centring pins I’ve had previously elsewhere were NOT ??) and fits 1/4″ & 1/2″ shank collets and the self-centring guides also great. Compared to lesser, more expensive alternatives, this is a bargain at full price – even better when on offer as recently. As for Yandles, they do not hang around with their deliveries so 5 * all round
