The Shogun Folding Wood Cutting Pocket Saw is a general purpose all round saw for cutting wood. Equally this folding version is designed to be tough enough to go into a tool box, small enough to go into your pocket.
The saw features a heavy duty steel chassis that is chrome plated overlaid with a rubber cushion handle grip. All moving parts are manufactured from high quality steel.
The 120mm long wood cutting blade is hard chrome plated for extra durability.
The teeth are impulse hardened for a long service life. The thin blade allows for a very gentle cutting action to achieve fast cuts in all kinds of timber.
When extended the blade is securely locked into one of 2 positions. A thumb push lever unlocks the blade for folding.

The most noticeable design feature of a Japanese saw is that the teeth are angled backwards towards the handle. When in use, the cutting action is on the pull-stroke hence Japanese saws are often referred to as pull saws.
The saw is designed to cut as you draw it through the timber, totally the opposite to a traditional western saw.
