Woodturning Spotlight with Andy Fortune & Record Power – January 2026 | Yandles
Join us for a Woodturning Spotlight Weekend with Andy Fortune & Record Power! Hosted onsite, here at Yandles, we will have guest Woodturner Andy Fortune alongside Record Powers Peter & Richard.
Andy will be offering FREE demonstrations on both days:
Friday 23rd:
- 10am – 1pm Making a wooden ball, including making the ball jig
- 1:30pm – 4pm Making a base for the ball and fitting the bearings
Saturday 24th
- 10am – 12:30pm Vase making and hollowing techniques. Colouring and applying finishes
- 1pm – 3pm Finishing the vase, lacquer burnishing and final parting off of the piece

This event is all about Woodturning! Despite this being a Woodturning focus event, we will have Special Road Show Pricing on many lines, including the lathes, bandsaws, planers, chucks & jaws – only available in store
