Pet First Aid

Learn the essential first aid skills that could help save your pet’s life in an emergency.

This practical 2-hour course is designed for pet owners, pet sitters, dog walkers, and anyone who spends time with animals. You’ll learn what to do while waiting for veterinary care, giving you the confidence to respond quickly and calmly in an emergency.

The course covers:

• Pet CPR and how to respond if a pet stops breathing.
• How to control catastrophic bleeding.
• Recognising and responding to poisoning.
• Choking emergencies.
• Fractures and other common injuries.
• When and how to seek veterinary help.

No previous experience is needed. The course is suitable for anyone who wants to be prepared to help a pet in an emergency.

On successful completion, participants will receive a Pet First Aid Certificate.
