Honey Spoon 1 Hour Woodturning Taster Session April 5th 2025 2.30-3.30pm

This one-hour woodturning taster session offers participants the opportunity to explore the basics of this traditional craft by creating a honey spoon. Designed for beginners and those curious about woodturning, the session provides a supportive environment to learn foundational techniques.

Participants will be guided through the process of shaping wood on a lathe, gaining hands-on experience under the instruction of a skilled tutor. Emphasis will be placed on safe handling of tools, understanding the characteristics of the wood, and developing precision in shaping. By the end of the session, students will have crafted a functional honey spoon, which they can take home as a personal keepsake or gift.
