Bee Creative – Celebrate the Return of the new series of ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’

Join us at Yandles Arts & Crafts for our Bee Creative community event as we celebrate the return of The Great British Sewing Bee.

We’re inviting crafters of all ages and abilities to create a handmade bee using any craft you enjoy. Your bee could be sewn from fabric, knitted, crocheted, felted, embroidered, painted, drawn, carved from wood, made from paper, or created using whatever your imagination inspires. There are no rules-just have fun and let your creativity take flight!

We’ll display all the handmade bees in-store on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July, creating a colourful community display for visitors to enjoy and celebrating the amazing creativity within our local community.

Supporting Castle Kids Patch

We’re proud to be supporting Castle Kids Patch, a fantastic local community interest company based in Stoke-sub-Hamdon that provides gardening projects and outdoor activities for children and young people.

During the event we’ll also be holding a £1 charity raffle, every ticket purchased will help support the valuable work Castle Kids Patch does within our local community.

How to Take Part:

• Create a handmade bee using any craft you love.
• Bring your bee to Yandles Arts & Crafts before Friday 24th July.
• Receive a free thank-you gift.
• Visit our colourful community bee display on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th July.
• Enter our £1 charity raffle and help support Castle Kids Patch.

Whether you’re an experienced maker or just enjoy getting creative, everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see your wonderful handmade bees and celebrate creativity together!
