Green Oak Bowls: Advanced Woodturning Session

Join us for a 2-hour hands-on woodturning session focused on turning green oak bowls. This workshop is designed for those with some prior woodturning experience — it’s not suitable for complete beginners.

Under guidance, you’ll work with freshly cut green oak to rough out a bowl blank on the lathe. The emphasis will be on safe tool use, basic shaping, and preparing your bowl for drying. You’ll take your part-turned bowl home to dry and complete the finishing process later.

All tools and materials are provided. Please bring your own turning smock or wear suitable clothing turning green oak bowls can be a messy experience!
