Record Power ProComfort: Hands-On Launch of Carbide Turning Tools

Join us on June 27th for the official launch of Record Power’s ProComfort: Carbide Turning Tool Range!

This event will be hosted inside our Record Power training room. The event will be split into two sessions, AM & PM:

• AM, FREE Session:
  •  The AM session begins at 9am and aims to finish by 11am:
  • 9am: Introduction to the range with a short talk from Record Powers Peter Webb
  • 9:15: Woodturning Demonstration from Paul Ridler RPT lasting approximately 30 minutes
  • 9:45: Q&A
  • 10am: Have a go! We will have our lathes pre-set with some Timber ready for you to try your hand using these new tools, under Paul & Pete’s guidance. A great opportunity to get hands-on!
  • 11am: Final Q&A
• PM, optional Paid Sessions:
  • The optional PM sessions are 1-hour-long ‘try before you buy’ taster sessions. A great opportunity to get 1-1 training with Paul Ridler RPT & complete a short project using the carbide tools. Aimed at all skill levels, these sessions must be pre-booked & will be charged at £15pp. With 3-time slots to choose from, Paul will take a maximum of 4-people on each session (1-2 / 2:15-315 / 3:30-4:30) – please visit the courses section of our website, or call the shop to book your space.

All sessions will include the use of timber, tools & machinery at no extra cost.
