    Kreg Cabinet hardware jig.

Although the idea is good I was very annoyed that I could NOT tighten down fully the drill guides. The reason being the two finger nuts that hold the guides in place can only be put on the thread from one side so the thread will not pass through the nut as per normal leaving some play in the guide which means it is very easy to drill the holes out of line which defeats the whole object of the thing. I contacted Kreg in the U.S who promptly sent replacement nuts however they were just the same. I contacted Kreg again and they tested agreed the nuts will only fit one way and not tighten. What really annoyed me was they are not going to correct the problem till they “review the design in two to three years time”. I thought it was unbelievable that they could not be bothered to correct an obvious manufacturing fault on some plastic nuts that must only cost a fraction of a penny to produce. You can put a washer on to make it work but I did not pay for a product that is faulty. (not just one of them all of them it seems) Don’t waste your money.
