Led by a skilled furniture maker with over a decade of teaching expertise\, this program serves as a gateway to the world of joinery\, box making\, furniture crafting\, and beyond. \nThroughout this course\, you will acquire the following skills: \n\nPrecise marking techniques employing engineer squares\, marking knives\, rulers\, and various marking tools.\nMastery of sawing methods using both western and Japanese-style saws.\nHandcrafted cutting and fitting of joints using chisels.\nProper care and sharpening techniques for your tools.\n\nImmerse yourself in a day of hands-on learning as you explore the intricate techniques for creating accurate hand-cut joinery through sawing and chiseling. By the end of the course\, you will proudly take home a small but impressive piece\, such as a trivet\, pot stand\, or mug stand\, showcasing your newly acquired woodworking skills. \nYou will not need to bring any materials with you. Lunch is provided on the day in our cafe.  All courses are on site in Martock\, Somerset and run from 10AM to 4PM \nMinimum age for this Course is 16 \nPLEASE NOTE: Cancellation or postponment of a course within 48hrs of the booked date will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total cost
