Traditional 16mm Cotton Canvases from Loxley Gold are well known by artists for their professional quality and finish. The canvases have been triple primed with a rich and highly pigmented primer giving a smooth texture to the cotton canvas that is ideal for all techniques such as wet-on-wet or impasto in Acrylic, Oil and Alkyd paints.

This unique coat priming formula provides a surface with great tooth and adhesion that can hold paint well whilst preventing colour sink and cotton fibers degrading. Every canvas is hand stretched over wooden stretcher bars and secured on the reverse leaving the sides to be void of fastenings, with the edges of the frame having a depth of 16mm.
