This 1-hour taster session is designed to provide beginners with a basic understanding of how to safely and effectively use a bandsaw. In this course, participants will learn the fundamental principles of bandsaw setup, as well as the essential safety precautions necessary to minimize risks when operating a bandsaw.

The course will cover essential topics such as blade selection, tensioning, and tracking, which are critical elements in ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of the bandsaw.

Participants will also receive guidance on how to use the bandsaw safely and effectively, with top tips for minimizing the risk of accidents and maintaining the quality of cuts. The course will cover best practices for feed rates, blade tension, and how to keep the bandsaw blade clean and sharp.

This is a 1-hour brief masterclass aimed at beginners. We do offer a half day session that is more in depth, available from £60pp

"I've been looking to upgrade my bandsaw, so thought I'd book myself in on the Sabre 350 bandsaw course as this was one of the contenders for the upgrade. I'm so glad I went to the event. Dan from Yandles explained things clearly and with humour and made the hour event pleasurable. I learned things that I hadn't considered before so a bit more knowledge behind the ear for later. It couldn't have come at a better time just before Black Friday where I pulled the trigger and saved another £100 on the Sabre 350. Now looking forward to delivery of the saw. A great 1 hour course and I'd highly recommend going even if you're not looking to buy, just go for the tips, tricks and info."
