Yandles Woodworking Show 2014

The panics over, the weather turned in our favour and it finally stopped raining about three weeks before our show.  The stress had been immense because as many of you know, we park the cars in our fields and basically a month before the show they were only suitable for ducks to swim in! We hesitated until the last minute before sending out over twelve thousand show leaflets, then three weeks before the show, it turned dry and began to look a bit more hopeful.  We decided to go for it and inundated our local post office with our mail run, then, it poured again and we were panicking but luckily we were taken pity on, the sun came out and dried everything up and the show days were sunny and dry and everyone appeared to be having a good time, especially the visitors to the ice-cream van and cider tent!  Friday, the car parking area filled up very quickly as people decided to take advantage of the sunshine and the benefits of visiting a Yandles Spring Show.  Our unique setting in a working sawmill sets us apart from other shows as where else can you be amongst Manufacturers and demonstrators whilst looking around a working mill.  After two, eleven hour days in the office whilst everyone else was enjoying the sunshine, its back to normal and would you believe planning for the September show where we are very pleased to say that we have already booked both Stuart Mortimer and Nick Agar, both of whom we are looking forward to watching their demonstrating skills.

Our new Triton Academy is up and running and proved very popular at the show.  We are in the process of arranging some road show events with them and are also holding taster courses on Triton Tools.  Record Power and Charnwood are both holding demonstration events here during the course of the summer.  Please click here for further details

Hopefully the sun will now continue to shine for the spring and summer and if you are down visiting our part of the world to pop in and say hello.
