A compact and economic machine yet with all the features and build quality customers have come to expect from a Startrite machine. Taking up to a 25mm blade and having a cutting height of 280mm, it can easily handle most operations. It is equipped with cast iron wheels and electro-mechanical braking, unlike hobby machines that use aluminium wheels which avoid the need for braking. With its two speeds, the cutting of light alloys can be undertaken making it a truly versatile machine. Electrically interlocked doors and an emergency kick stop are fitted as standard and make this an ideal machine for schools and will fit into most budgets. A wheel kit and high quality cast iron mitre gauge are available as optional extras.
