"The Hegner Multicut 2SV is the direct descendant of our original Universal Saw and has all the features associated with HEGNER Fretsaws (Scrollsaws) but with the added benefit of variable speed control. Cast Iron base and frame, perfect parallel motion, 18? throat, 2 5/8? thickness capacity, 17 5/8? x 9? rectangular alloy worktable with dual tilt (45º to the left 12º right), self contained dust extraction ducting or sawdust blower, under table guard, adjustable stroke length (long and short) and the NEW quick tension release, choice of either single or variable 100Watt induction motor rated for continuous use. Weight 21Kg."

"Over the moon with the hegner. My last scrollsaw was the hegner multicut 1. So I no what to expect from hegner made up to have the quick change blade, and variable speed motor. 10 out of 10 from me."

"Happy to review this item, I had some initial difficulty with it snatching wood from my grasp and due to my own ignorance it took me a week to figure out what the problem was. The baseline adjuster at the rear of the arm was completely slack, a simple thing to put right once you know what the problem is. However since this adjustment has been made it does everything I ask of it with ease, I am as yet a novice with the scroll saw so take my review as its meant please. As far as my use and experience goes I must give 5 stars as problems where my own fault."

"This is a fantastic saw, very well made and all accessible parts. It's very quiet when running and blade changing is simple, you just need to follow the instructions. All scroll sawing needs a bit of practice, this is just the saw to grow your skills on. Great service from Yandles"
