Arbortech inventor to visit Yandles
The man from ‘Down Under’ who invented the Arbortech TurboPlane blade will be visiting the UK this autumn. Kevin Inkster, both CEO of Arbortech and the original inventor, will be demonstrating at Yandles Autumn Show on 7th- 8th September.
Perth-based Arbortech is a world leader in power woodcarving. The Australian company is engaged in the research, development and manufacturing of innovative technologies and well known for its award winning petrol Allsaw.
The Turboplane blade is a perfect tool for beginners and professionals for texturing woodturning and carving; the flat, planed finish it produces is unique.

With some of the easiest ways to remove what you don't want in your carving or large form, the Arbortech range has the right tool. Easy to use, inexpensive and fun... you will soon be carving or texturing like a pro!
Arbortech was incorporated in 1988 with the release of the Woodcarver™ Blade, a revolutionary product that allows the user to powerfully shape wood using free-hand techniques. Available in the Pro-4 resharpenable or Industrial with replaceable TCT tips, there are two varieties to cater for job and budget.
The Woodcarver™ Blade is very popular in the miniature size for use as a mini-grinder. This can be attached to an angle grinder (MIN200), or purchased as a fully assembled tool (MIN300).
The miniature blades can also be fiited to the Proxxon LWS, which is available combined as a Package Deal (28547PK). This popular package appeals to carvers and woodworkers alike for its excellent stock removal.
The New TurboPlane blade (TPL100), introduced in 2012, allows rapid freehand sculpting, planing and trimming. Leaving a smooth surface that requires minimal sanding.
For those power carvers that need a bit extra Arbortech offer their Power Carver (PCH350). For Tradesmen, Woodworkers, Hobby and Do-it-Yourself enthusiasts, this tool makes chiselling a breeze!
Finally for those who need a blade for all purposes the Tuff Cut is the tradesperson's and DIY handyman's dream. Its tungsten carbide teeth promise long life and unrivalled cutting performance and can be resharpened. It is designed for straight cuts and carving through the toughest of materials, from dirty wood with embedded nails to aluminium. |
