Air Dried. Heartwood is a dull brown with a pronounced grain.

Kiln Dried. Reddish brown timber often streaked with dark brown. Easy to work and finish

Part Seasoned

Kiln dried. A yellow brown timber which is often used in joinery and furniture. The dust gives reaction to some people.

Kiln dried.
Also known as Brazilian Cherry. It is a reddish brown in colour and straight grained.
It turns well and takes a good polish.

Kiln dried.
Light brown. Ideal for carving. Very uninteresting grain. Used for rocking horses etc.

Air Dried.
Violet colour. Close grain and fine texture

Kiln dried. Heartwood is pale reddish brown with distinctive medullary.

Part Seasoned. Pale yellowish timber with very little colour variation. Easy to turn

Air dried.
Heartwood is darkish green brown and sapwood is pale yellow. Very dense hard timber with a sweet smell when first cut.

Heartwood is a cream-yellow. It is a soft timber, ideal for carving.
