Kiln dried.
Heartwood is deep orange with highly figured medullary rays when quarter sawn.

Heartwood varies from pinkish to purple brown with irregular black markings. This is an attrective and rare timber.

Air dried. Light golden brown, streaked with purple to black veins. This timber is becoming difficult to obtain.

Reddish to purplish brown, similar to mahogany

Part Seasoned. Pale cream to yellow with a variety of patterns, stripes, ripples, streaks, mottles, fiddlebacks and broken roes.

Part seasoned. Light golden yellow with dark gum veins/narrow ribbon figure.

Part seasned. Brown with dark brown/black specs, giving an appearence of snakeskin.

Air dried. Heartwood is pale pink brown with fine black lines. Our Stocks are always changing.

Kiln dried,
Heartwood is pale pink-brown with a straight to wavy grain and fine even texture. Used for furniture, carving and turning.

Kiln dried. White to creamy white. Perfect quality, some rippling can be found in the blanks.

Ideal for turning small knobs

This is a very decorative timber, being golden brown to orange red with a wild grain full of knots. We stock a selection of blocks in all sizes. prices on request.

Air dried.
Yellow/white backgroend with salmon/deep red stripes. Sapwood is yellow-white and can be found on some blanks and squares.

Kiln dried.
Heartwood varies from pale yellowish brown to pale olive brown streaked with olive green.

Very dark brown with black veins.
Turns well and takes a good polish
